That they allow dogs. Had free internet. New flat screen TV. Reading lights on both sides of the bed. Beach is just a block away...and town is right there. Staff was responsive. Room was clean. Cayucas has a fun, eclectic home-town feel.
We were in a one bedroom:. Coffee maker has 3-prong plug...but wall was 2-prong. No microwave. No fridge. No counter space in the bathroom. Coat rack, but no dresser in bedroom. Shower stall only, no light...and it dripped. Breakfast is tang and packaged sweet roll. Thin walls. Could be made much cuter. Seemed expensive for what was there.

We have stayed at Estero Bay in the past. We like the atmosphere of the town of Cayocus- and the central California Coast. The Estero is an old '50s motor court, but freshly painted, and clean.
We got to the hotel during one of the rare warm nights, and did miss any air conditioning.

great location , but needs better water quality
The location was excellent, just steps from the beach. Loved that the room was allergen-free. It. The natural scent of the soap added a nice touch. Watching the owner feed the birds in the morning provided a charming moment that my kids adored.
The water in the sink had a sulfur smell, quite off-putting.

The room with 2 beds. Location: the hotel was next to the beach and restaurants as well as downtown, restaurants, and the beach and pier. Besides, I explored Wooden Indian not very far from the property.
The staff were busy, didn't expect that coming.
